That’s why our team is investing in the next generation of women leaders who represent the New American Majority of Black, Brown, and Indigenous women, women of color, as well as young, LGBTQ+, and unmarried women.
Emerge has helped break down barriers to representation, with over 1,200 alums currently serving in office across the country. This is how we build up power. One candidate, one election, and one victory at a time!
From school boards to Congress, Emerge alums are fighting back at every level of government.
Emerge alum Rep. Kim Schrier (WA-08) is working to safeguard the jobs of national parks and forest workers from the Trump Administration’s reckless spending cuts. Newly elected Emerge alum and New Mexico State Rep. Cindy Nava also recently sponsored a bill that would stop state and local police resources from being used to support Trump’s federal deportation raids.
