Washington voters already rejected Joe Kent for his white nationalist ties and conspiracy theories – but now, Donald Trump wants to put him in charge of our nation’s counterterrorism efforts. Let that sink in.
This is someone who called for defunding the FBI, spreads dangerous conspiracy theories about our allies, and has zero executive experience in national security – and yet, Trump wants him at the helm of the National Counterterrorism Center.
Joe Kent is not a public servant. He is a political extremist who has openly pledged loyalty to Trump over the Constitution. If he gets this position, our national security will be in the hands of a man who sees MAGA loyalty as more important than the rule of law.
Washington said NO to Joe Kent before. Twice. Now, we must fight back again.
We need to be ready to organize, to resist, and to defeat MAGA extremists at every level of government. But our resources are stretched thin, and Trump’s allies are flooding Washington with cash to install more extremists like Joe Kent.
This is not a drill. Trump is building an administration of yes-men and conspiracy theorists who are hard at work dismantling democracy from within. We need to make sure Washington stays strong in the fight against them.
Let’s stop Joe Kent – and every MAGA extremist – before it’s too late.
