Trump’s inauguration is approaching, and I’m still grappling with the results of the last election. But I’m not giving up—in fact, I’ve made a decision. On Inauguration Day, I’m dedicating my time to making sure it’s the last MAGA inauguration we ever see. My mission is to help as many Democrats as possible run for office, from Congress to City Council to School Board—every level matters.

Here’s my plan for January 20:

I’m hosting a special edition of SO YOU THINK YOU WANT TO RUN at 3 PM EST, and I’d love for you to join me. Democrats from across the country will come together online to protect democracy, learn what running for office entails, and discover the most effective ways to kick off their campaigns.

If you’ve ever been curious about running for office or if you know someone who’d be a great local leader — we want you to personally invite them to join us. January 20th doesn’t have to be the day we give up. It can be the day we take action — democratically — to change our communities for the better, and build the next generation of Democratic power.

There are over 100,000 open seats in 2025.

You can be elected.
