As we’ve been saying since day one, this is an extremely close race and it’s going to take every single one of us getting involved to win.

State of the Race

Every single one of our top battleground states is polling within the margin of error. I’ve been doing campaigns for a very long time, and I have never seen all seven battlegrounds this close.

What these polls are telling us is that many people are still undecided. Our job is to make sure we are talking to those voters about the choice they have in front of them and persuading them.

The Vice President and Governor Walz will be traveling all across this country to talk to as many people as possible before they vote. While they’re out on the road, they’re counting on you to reach out to the folks on your contact list, in your neighborhood, and in your community. If everyone in your life is already turning out to vote, then I hope you’ll find a way to reach more undecided voters today.

Early Vote

We are seeing really high turnout in the battleground states. Democrats are returning ballots at a higher rate than Republicans and women are outvoting men across the board.

But Republicans are also voting earlier than ever before. So, we can’t let our foot off the gas. We cannot let the other side outwork us in persuading and mobilizing voters.

We know we have the best candidate — and many people are already turning out to vote for her — but without grassroots energy we could very easily find ourselves facing four more years of Donald Trump. A Donald Trump that is more extreme than ever before.

How You Can Help

I know politics is really hard. It’s tough to find time to get involved or to find the energy to talk to the people in your life about politics. But it is really important in an election this close.

Right now, our campaign is looking for more supporters from your community to volunteer — on the ground, on the phone, even on social media — to help reach undecided voters in the final stretch of this race.

Our team will give you all the training you’ll need, plus you’ll meet fellow volunteers and have meaningful conversations with the voters who will decide this election.
